| Notes |
This Texas Eastern tower apparently has several microwave paths. The building is not well maintained, and its identification sign is extremely faded. There is not any indication of a generator or fuel supply within the fenced area, however there is a manhole of sorts in the mowed area. I would speculate that there is an underground fuel supply, and a generator in the equipment building. |

This tower gave us quite a scare! We had walked two miles on a State Game Lands path to reach the tower. Upon reaching it, there was no obvious indication of where its utility power came from. Doug spotted the transformer, and I walked into the power line right-of-way. Almost immediately as I walked under the line, the wire and pole began violently shaking. A branch had fallen across the power line roughly 50 feet from my location. Luckily the hot conductor was insulated, but it nevertheless caused quite a scare. |
