| Notes | This pole bears a sticker for WCMB 1460. That call sign is currently assigned to a station in Michigan, but there was a WCMB in the Harrisburg area for a number of years. In the 1960s, 1460 operated with the call sign WFEC and was Harrisburg's original rock and roll station. Currently, 1460 operates under the call sign WTKT in the Harrisburg area. The pole appears to have no generator, and is covered with something like rubber sheeting. Elson P. Kendall, W2INL, has suggested that this may have been a signal monitoring point instead of an transmission point, which seems plausible. Special thanks to Matthew Loser for contributing details for WCMB and 1460 in the Harrisburg area. |
