| Notes | This is the Saint Thomas VORTAC. Information is available here and its three letter code is THS. This wasn't nearly as thrilling as finding the Harrisburg VORTAC. This one seems well oiled :) The clearing around this VORTAC seems less well defined than the Harrisburg one. Its cabling is well marked, however. Apparently power cables are required to be burried around VORTACs. The Plank Trail runs directly beside the VORTAC (it is the access road for a small stretch). |
