| Notes | This is an enormous television broadcast transmission tower (613 feet, according to FCC records) for WHTM-TV, a television station with studios in Harrisburg, PA. We didn't manage to get any good pictures of the main tower, but the base of the tower is visible on the equipment building picture. The auxiliary antenna for the site was originally from WCMB-TV. Additionally, according to FCC data, a Clear Channel FM station, WRBT, operating on 94.9 MHz utilizes this tower for transmission. It uses a four bay antenna approximately 160 feet up the main WHTM-TV broadcast tower. Special thanks to Tim Portzline, Chief Engineer for Clear Channel Radio for contributing details for this site. |
