| Notes | This is one of our stranger finds. We stopped at a parking lot atop Blue Mountain and followed a gated road further up (there were big power lines). The power lines go below ground, and as you turn a bend you see this... thing. We had no idea what it was, only that we had never seen one. As it turns out, this is the Harrisburg VORTAC. Its three-letter code is "HAR." We found some basic info on VORTACs here and here. |
