History
At one point B.C. Park was renamed to B.C. Sale to address our lack of profit... this didn't work, and the name returned to B.C. Park.
As interest in managing a park was gradually lost, our attentions turned to more practical endeavors. B.C. Park's assets were transferred at one point into the A.M. Company that was supposed to sell copying services, faxing, as well as computer software. This business also folded, and then the funds went back into B.C. Park, or some derivative thereof that has been forgotten.
Partially parallel to the existance of the A.M. Company, the Story Master Company was formed, jointly owned by Chris and Brady, just as B.C. Park had been. The sole purpose of the company was the development of Story Master, a choose-your-own-path (-adventure was trade marked, we found out later) computer game. It developed into a rather sophisticated piece of software, with a DOS version eventually topping 3000 lines of Pascal code. It was eventually ported to Windows, and also had several utility programs. The biggest setback for the software was the complete lack of any stories to sell using it...
The existance of Brady Alleman Technologies (B-Tech) stretched back to the old A.M. Company days. The B-Tech name was recorded on all of my software projects that were not affiliated with any of the other organizations. At some point, I offered to buy Chris's half of the Story Master Company and he agreed. From that point forward, all programming and other projects have been unified under a common organization.
Only recently has B-Tech been renamed to TreehouseTechnologies. The change was a necessity enduced by the Internet, which has any domain name even remotely similar to B-Tech already claimed. So, TreehouseTechnologies it now is, even though the Treehouse has been there since before B.C. Park had ever existed.
